Positional Perspective

Our positions in life sometime never come in the manner pleasing to our own desire. God will place us where He needs us; at the appointed time He needs us to affect change in a person or person’s life for His glory.

Our lives should continually be examined through a biblical worldview and count it all joy no matter the current situation. Look at the message in the book of Philippians. Paul is in chains and he is thanking his friends and speaking about joy.

Philippians 1:13-14 So that it became evident to the whole palace guard, and most of the brethren in the Lord, having become confident by my chains, are much more bold to speak the word without fear.

Our perspective has to be both vertical and horizaontal! Keep the cross in your sights!

Joseph, Hananiah, Azariah, Mishael, Daniel, & Apostle Paul all had a positional perspective that God was their focus no matter their situation. In each of their lives they were able to influence those around them because they maintained a vertical and horizontal focus.
