A message

” For you yourselves know, brothers, that our coming to you was not in vain. But though we had already suffered and been shamefully treated at Philippi, as you know, we had boldness in our God to declare to you the gospel of God in the midst of much conflict.”  1 Thessalonians 2:1-2

So profound that it provokes men to anger, so resounding it will push them to imprison you. Exclusive in what it presents yet soothing in all its promises.

Once called and described as The Way a path followed by many, one can’t count.  The entrance is found in One He, called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace, Son of God born of a virgin walked in the flesh. So, that we might see Him for who He is. In all that He has done, He is sadly rejected by those whom one should know that He is God the Messiah.

Jeremiah, John the Baptist, Stephen, Paul, John along with many others spake words of life all following Christ Jesus. To prison they went, even to death yet we know that if we have died with Christ, we believe that we will also live with him. We know that Christ, being raised from the dead, will never die again; death no longer has dominion over Him. For the death he died to sin, once for all, but the life he lived he lives to God. So you also must consider yourselves dead to sin and alive to God in Christ Jesus.

In 1659, a Puritan writer wrote:

“God, who is infinite in wisdom and matchless in goodness, hath ordered our troubles, yea, many troubles to come trooping in upon us on every side. As our mercies, so our crosses seldom come single; they usually come treading one upon the heels of another; they are like April showers, no sooner is one over but another comes. It’s mercy that every affliction is not an execution, every correction not a damnation. The more the afflictions, the more the heart is raised heavenward.”  – ‘Thomas Brookes, The mute Christian under the Smarting Rod’

Today, with lines blurred and even erased. My words to you fear not! Live the life called . You being chosen in Him to proclaim a message of life. Times will become more and more challenging, but God has promised a kingdom for the righteous. http://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=2%20Corinthians%201:3-11&version=KJV
